Lessons are held in one of our three well maintained outdoor menages. We welcome all levels of rider from beginner to advanced and we have horses to suit all levels and types of rider. We cater for ages 5 years old upwards, with no upper age limit. Riders are grouped together based on age and experience.
We are a wonderful, friendly, sociable Riding School, encouraging people to take up horse riding and find out what they are missing!
Group lessons run across the weekdays and the weekends, with classes to suit every rider.
Our group lessons are instructional, challenging and above all fun!
Group lessons are a wonderful way to learn and enable different learning styles. They are wonderfully sociable and our group riders have a great sense of camaraderie. They encourage and support each other which helps to maintain a positive learning environment. The horses enjoy working alongside their friends too!
Our private lessons run from Tuesday to Friday, term time.
Private lessons are useful for more experienced riders to hone specific skills and for our more novice riders to get some targeted teaching, to improve or gain further clarity on certain areas of their riding.
Our Instructors enjoy the variety of teaching our clients on a 1-2-1 basis and their usefulness in rider progression.
Lead rein lessons are for our junior riders, age 5 years upwards.
They offer a safe introduction to riding and allow them to safely progress up to riding independently.
Riders are paired up with a 'buddy', a member of staff who stays with them for the duration of their lesson and helps them to understand and carry out instructions.
